Take advantage of a $100 rebate!

The Municipality of Cantley is encouraging the use of cotton diapers by granting an annual $100 rebate on the amount spent to purchase a set of at least 20 cotton diapers to 20 families residing in Cantley.

To be eligible, the family must:

  • include a child under 6 months of age;
  • reside in Cantley;
  • present the original receipt for the set* of washable diapers, accompanied by the Reimbursement Form, to the Municipality of Cantley.

Reimbursement for access to aquatic services (french only)

Through Resolution 2018-MC-R030, adopted January 9, 2018, the municipal council wishes to support citizens in the practice of aquatic physical activities in the Outaouais and National Capital regions, and is therefore offering a reimbursement, by cheque, of up to $75 per person annually for the amount spent to register for aquatic services.

To be eligible, the person must be a Cantley resident and present the original receipt for their registration for one of the following aquatic services: free swim access, swimming lessons, aquatic fitness courses, or lifesaving courses..

The reimbursement procedure is as follows:

  • present the original receipt identifying the name of the service user as well as the aquatic services provided, accompanied by the reimbursement form, to the Municipality of Cantley;
  • present proof of residence for all users of the corresponding services.

A : No, the reimbursement offer extends to the entire National Capital Region, which includes the City of Gatineau, the City of Ottawa, and any other community organization, association, or private company, such as Sporthèque.

  1. I purchased an Accès Gatineau + card.. Am I entitled to a reimbursement?

A : Yes, the Accès Gatineau + card offers free swim access and lets you register for aquatic activities (such as aqua fitness and swimming lessons).

  1. I have an Accès Gatineau card (regular). Am I entitled to a reimbursement?

A : No, the Accès Gatineau card (regular) only allows access to City of Gatineau libraries. However, it lets you register for guided aquatic courses (such as aqua fitness and swimming lessons). A registration receipt for one of these courses entitles you to a reimbursement.

  1. I don’t have an Accès Gatineau or Accès Gatineau +card, but I still accessed free swim by paying cash. Am I entitled to a reimbursement?

A : Yes, a reimbursement can be issued for amounts equal to or greater than $75. The accumulated receipts must indicate the person’s name as well as proof of registration for free swim.

  1. I renewed my Accès Gatineau + card in August 2017. Am I entitled to a reimbursement?

A : Yes, if the services offered continue through the year 2018.

  1. My ex-spouse lives in Gatineau and purchased an Accès Gatineau + We have shared custody. I live in Cantley. Am I entitled to a reimbursement for my child?

A : No, the applicant’s address must appear on the receipt, and proof of residence is required.

  1. My daughter lives in Gatineau and I would like to pay for her swimming lessons. Could I get a reimbursement?

A : No, the applicant’s address must appear on the receipt, and proof of residence is required.
